LOESJEPRAKTIJKEN STANDS FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY<br /><br /> A professional photographer since 1996, Loes Schleedoorn picked a playful name for her company to bring out her perception of photography. In her view, a photograph captures an intimately personal moment in time, which 'may be a statement; in my work reality is reflected in the way it presents itself to me'. Most of Loes Schleedoorn's work is commissioned as a testimony to her art. An introduction.<br /><br /> 'Things are the way they are, but only the way they are through my eyes'; I'd like to feel that this perception appeals to my clients. In my photos I try to capture whatever it is my clients would like to express by creating a particular atmosphere and form most suitable to their wishes.<br /><br /> The images I make create feelings that may be evoked, for instance, by the sight of a designer object, an exotic travel destination, an elderly person enjoying a gleam of sunshine, a deserted industrial park or a girl playing hopscotch. In other words, the images convey my interest in the lesser known and inconspicuous elements of my surroundings, which has drawn the attention of various clients ranging from cultural and welfare institutions, editors of travel and lifestyle magazines to local and national governments, large department stores, graphic designers and publishers.<br /><br /> 'My work testifies to the importance I place in photography. I allow myself to be caught unawares by being on the road meeting people and exchanging experiences. It often doesn't take more than crossing the street to capture that specific moment in an unforgettable picture'.
